Bug ID: 486751 Summary: Kdenlive Crashes while copying effects between Sequences Classification: Applications Product: kdenlive Version: 24.02.2 Platform: SteamOS OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: crash Priority: NOR Component: Effects & Transitions Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org Reporter: bhanulaks...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- *** If you're not sure this is actually a bug, instead post about it at https://discuss.kde.org If you're reporting a crash, attach a backtrace with debug symbols; see https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** SUMMARY Dragging one effect from one sequence to another causes kdenlive to crash. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. click on "add clip or folder" button 2. import two or more clips using Dolphin (23.04.2) 3. Project < Add Sequence (default 2x2 tracks) 4. Add One clip to sequence 1 and a different clip to sequence 2 5. apply any effect to one sequence and drag it to another sequence (I've tried with Gaussian blur, Transform, Phaser and some others) OBSERVED RESULT CRASH EXPECTED RESULT effect to be applied to the clip from other sequence SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Kernel Version: 6.1.52-valve16-1-neptune-61 (64-bit) KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.107.0 Qt Version: 5.15.9 Graphics Platform: X11 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -I tried getting backtrace but got this error when i entered "flatpak run --command=sh --devel org.kde.kdenlive" "error: runtime/org.kde.Sdk/x86_64/6.6 not installed" despite installing debug symbols. - It didn't crash when i applied custom effects - didn't crash if I individually import clips one by one for some weird reason - values of the effect played no role in it crashing kdenlive - the bug was also in the nightly flatpak build 24.07.70 (rev. 07167c533) (its kinda confusing in the website its 23.08.5 and in the discover its 24.02.02 while the actual 24.02.02 being 24.02.01) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
