            Bug ID: 486791
Summary: Remove missing files from failed burn
    Classification: Applications
           Product: k3b
           Version: 21.12.3
          Platform: Ubuntu
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Data Project
          Assignee: k...@kde.org
          Reporter: gordon...@web.de
                CC: mich...@jabster.pl, tr...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

If a disc burn fails, the file listings contains files that do not exist on the
disc. I refer to such files as "zombie files".

There are several reasons a disc burn could fail:

- You forget to increase the time until your computer goes into stand-by mode,
also known as suspension, causing it to suspend automatically in the midst of a
write.
- You are using an external drive and it disconnects when you move a cable.
- The computer crashes
- The operating system closes tasks due to exhausted RAM (because many websites
are bloated nowadays and need 10 times the memory they needed a decade ago)
- Power outage
- You accidentally hit the power switch of an extension cord.

For these reasons, K3b needs to let the user remove those "zombie files" from
the file list of an imported session when creating a new session.
