Bug ID: 160981 Summary: [WRITER] The frame looses its fixed height if I set centered content alignment Product: LibreOffice Version: 24.2.2.2 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: cala...@tiscalinet.it Description: Once I chang the vertical alignment setting of the content of a frame to "Center", it collapses to its minimal height. NOTE: the change seems to be destructive. Once the frame looses its heigth, undo the action don't restore its original height. It seems it is not possible to restore the height in any way. It is necessary close and reopen the document. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open the sample document in Writer 2. Select a frame 3. Context menu: "Properties" 4. "Options" tab 5. Content Alignment: set to "Center" 6. Presso "Ok" Actual Results: The frame collapse to minimal height. The "Position and Size" tab settings are not changed anyway. The frame is a bit disaligned too, its position is shifted at left. Position settings remain unchanged. Restoring top vertical alignment don't restore frame's height while checking "automatic size" in "Position and Size" tab surprisingly reassign a similar but not identical height (note: the disalignment remains). Expected Results: The text is vertically centered inside the frame without modifying the frame itself. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: NOTE: the menu's names could be inaccurate, I translated them from Italian but the official English localization could be slightly different. Other issues in the document - Frame alignment: it seems it is not possible to aligne the right one of the two frame on the bottom line with the right border of other frames. I tried to do that increasing the size of the frame, but it wrap in a new line before it reach the desired position. - Print: when i printed the page, the right border of the frames overflowed the printer's right margins, as if the frame was larger than showed in writer. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
