Just downloaded the open vm tools. But cant compile it.
(Host) Vmware on Windows 2003 server
(Guest)System OS: CentOS 5.3
Configure error:
configure: error: glib = 2.6.0 is required.
Yum reports:
Package glibc-2.5-34.x86_64 already installed and latest version
Package glibc-2.5-34.i686
Is mirrorlist.centos.org out of the air? because there is no A record for
it.
Which causes yum to fail.

what I wanted! I suppose I must disable IPV6!
IPv6 is not looking like this.
What you see is the MAC from the NIC
IPv6 uses : not a - (ipv6
is not working because of this.
And some KDE/GNOME programs are not starting (that uses perl i think)
