Yes, it works ,but your patch seems have a problem: it can not work with
amd64.
you hardcoded that preload /usr/lib/libfreeimage.so.3, but there is not
32bit version of this file.
Maybe, takes this file with this package, can do this job.

I believe run grub-install is not the job of postinst of grub-pc.
grub-install should only be exec by user her/him self or

(im-config). Since it doesn’t use GConf to set the default, I’m pretty
sure it does it wrong. Use a tool that works correctly.

gksu still uses GTK2 (but not for long), while gnome-keyring uses GTK3.
Ibus can be used with any program in my installation, gtk2/gtk3/qt4
etc, but this.

For Simplified Chinese, there were a translation bug that confused odd and even.
Check that is it in your language?
It seems that this bug is in GTK+.

When building it requires much memory while on some arch, it cannot meet.
If compiler is not well optimizated, the situation will be worse.
