Now that you have set OFBIZ-12966 and OFBIZ-13011 as subtasks here, I better
understand what you mean by "Configurable Main page". By looking for
{{<include-portal-page}} I can confirm that accounting, sfa and order already
use it for their main pages (accounting and sfa having been recently done by
you). Party uses it for its viewprofile page which is not main (it's a search
page) but quite important, same for scrum, also logically EditPortalPage in
myportal.
I'm not against this concept. Though like Daniel I wonder if redirections,
notably from data, is a good thing to generalise in OFBiz. Of course I see no
reasons to change what exists. Like Michael says, seems to be something to
discuss in dev ML. But IIRW you can't write there, right?
