Please report if any of the following cmdline params make it boot:
nohz=off
nolapic
maxcpus=1
hpet=disable
acpi=ht
pci=noacpi
if any boot, please attach the resulting dmesg -s64000 output.
> acpi=off ide=nodma noapic
Also, are all three of these necessary, or does the system boot
when using just acpi=off?
