  Hi! Everyone!
I used the following command to add a storage volume xxxxx into our
library 3584_library:
Checkin libvolume 3584_lib search=bulk status=scratch
checklabel=barcode

And you can see the following results:
ANR8422I CHECKIN LIBVOLUME: Operation for library 3584_LIB started as
process 4.
10/06/03 13:36:58 ANR0609I CHECKIN LIBVOLUME started as process 4.
10/06/03 13:37:43 ANR8431I CHECKIN LIBVOLUME process completed for
library 3584_LIB; 2 volume(s) found.
10/06/03 13:37:43 ANR0985I Process 4 for CHECKIN LIBVOLUME running
in the BACKGROUND completed with completion state SUCCESS at 13:37:43.

but after about 20 minutes it generated the following error messages:
ANR8355E I/O error reading label for volume 000105 in drive
3584_DRIVE2 (/dev/rmt2).
ANR8778W Scratch volume 000105 changed to Private Status to prevent
re-access.
ANR8355E I/O error reading label for volume 000106 in drive
3584_DRIVE2 (/dev/rmt2).
ANR8778W Scratch volume 000106 changed to Private Status to prevent
re-access.
ANR8355E I/O error reading label for volume 000089 in drive
3584_DRIVE2 (/dev/rmt2).
ANR8778W Scratch volume 000089 changed to Private Status to prevent
re-access.

I don't know what the matter is. Well, all those labeled tapes are
new. I am using library 3584 IBM and TSM in AIX Server.
I look forward to your reply. Regards.
Juan Reale.
