ok. i re installed 6.8 and i can't find a goldwave keyboard text file
anywhere. where do i find it?

At some point a few versions ago Goldwave introduced a new menu, the
control menu, available from the menu bar, which lets you perform a
bunch of functions available elsewhere in the interface, and the
keyboard stuff was updated. Somehow this conflicts with old keyboard
files which you might have saved.
So, you need to look for a file on your system called
GoldWaveKeyboard.txt, and delete it.
It might be in your user directory\appdata\roaming folder. That's
where mine was.
You will lose any special keyboard assignments you made if you do
this I guess. I don't recall making any, myself, so it still seems
strange that this happened, but it did. I deleted the file, and now
the default keyboard functions seem to work as they always did.

There are older versions on the site, but I think they are for
older versions of windows or those who need 32-bit support, so
they'll be older than 6.68 or indeed, older than 6.36, which is the
one I have installed currently.

i would be glad to but email won't let me because its an exe file.
i tried that a while back and it wouldn't go.are there not older
versions on the goldwave website? i thaught i had seen them before
but i could be wrong though.

me though. I had reverted to 6.36 last year because of this same
problem. So now, my next question that I must ask you is: before
you installed 6.80, what version of the programme were you using?
I'm communicating with Chris, who is I believe one of the main
developers, about this now, and the cause seems uncertain, and
obviously isn't affecting everyone.
