Not silly at all.  Voicemail.conf specifies that /usr/bin/sendmail -t will
be used to send the mail, so doing this command:

Sendmail -t "To: nebh...@gmail.com" followed by enter and ctrl-d should pop
an empty email from root into your inbox if all is well.
