I am running Asterisk (Trix) 1.2.17 with Aastra 6731i phones as my endpoints. It seems that when I enable G729 on my peers in sip.conf and make a call I am getting the following errors: Called crp_uk/806575011971553141421 Dec 11 07:57:10 WARNING[31903] channel.c: Unable to find a codec translation path from g729 to ulaw Dec 11 07:57:10 WARNING[20633] chan_sip.c: Asked to transmit frame type 256, while native formats is 4 (read/write = 4/4) Both my end points (Aastra phone) and my sip carrier support G729, so this should be simple pass-through.
