Hi what is the
uint_fast8_t ? What is the difference from regular uint8_t?
What gcc version is it supported from?

Well, you could always use the sizeof operator. ;-)

1, 2, 2, 4, 4, 4

There's also long long with 8 bytes.

For integer types, better use the names from <stdint.h>, like uint8_t,
int16_t, uint_fast8_t etc.
