A number of your quotations are taken from Divine Philosophy which more or less falls into the category of pilgrim's notes. But I think your understanding is both right and wrong. The very purpose of the Baha'i Faith is to bring about the unity of humanity and by it, an end to war. But that doesn't mean that we don't believe any country has a right to defend itself when attacked.
