Dear Mark,

And we have similiar statements from Abdu'l-Baha regarding the House of
Justice. ;-}

I don't think there is any doubt that Baha'u'llah gave Abdu'l-Baha the
authority to lead the Faith and therefore anyone who rejected it would
rejecting Baha'u'llah's will. My point is that what we believe about
Abdu'l-Baha's infalliblity,  is based on His own claims and those whom
Abdu'l-Baha authorized, not so much what His Father said. Therefore, I don't
think a 'minimalist' position which excludes the self-understanding of any
body associated with infalliblity really works.
