Title: "return" quote
The question was asked on another list

At 11:43 AM +0000 12/7/05, :
Can anyone explain the meaning please and of his return?
I thought there was no return no reincarnation or am I missing the point here?

The mysteries of man's physical death and of his return
have not been divulged, and still remain unread. By the
righteousness of God! Were they to be revealed, they
would evoke such fear and sorrow that some would perish,
while others would be so filled with gladness as to wish
for death, and beseech, with unceasing longing, the one true
God -- exalted be His glory -- to hasten their end.

to which I replied -
I can't find the reference, but in one copy I have noted "and his return [to God]."

This format usually means that someone posted a comment on-line that my addition in parenthesis was implied in the original.  However, I don't know who said it, so I can't vouch for the authenticity.  Is there a Persian speaker handy who can refer to the original text and comment?

Any comments?
