My ethics prof was a bit taken aback when I argued that God orders
men to do good because it is good; but, men *understand* it to be
good because God ordered it. I've seen someone else propose this
idea on a Baha'i list, prob this one.
This response raises all kinds of interesting questions about the
nature of intellectual realities.
