The Baha'i Studies Listserv The House appoints Counsellors and trustees of Huququllah. A lot of the time they are reappointing people whose job performance they have been able to assess. I'm interested in how they go about new appointments. I'm sure much of the time members of the House don't know the people that well (as in haven't spent much time around them). So where do they get their information from? I'm guessing they often canvas others who have served in the role for their recommendations. I suspect with Counsellors the collective advice of Counsellors in the region often determines who is appointed.
