The Baha'i Studies Listserv What increase the chances of people converting to any religion? I looked it up on Wikipedia, this is how religion spreads.
Open air preaching (preaching out in public, in the open air) Trickle down notoriety (famous/powerful people being an adherent) Door to door preaching (associated with Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons) Sermons (preaching any time, any place) Lifestyle (being seen as a well known virtuous righteous person as good publicity) Friendship (having friends of a particular religion) Creativity (using art to promote religion) Tract literature (passing out brochures promoting your religion) Religious television programs (television shows promoting religion) Religious radio programs (radio programs promoting religion) Religious websites (websites promoting religion) Phone preaching (use random calls to preach) Creation (using Creationism to promote Judaism, Christianity, Islam, or Hinduism) Prophecy (using prophecy, by coming true, as proof of religion) I read that Baha'is can't do the door to door route. Sermons as well are forbidden depending on the setting of the would be sermon. Also, Baha'is don't believe in Creationism, because of science. Tactics I know Baha'is use: Trickle down notoriety because there are some note worthy Baha'is. Lifestyle because Baha'is being Baha'is. Friendship because they are to have friends of all religions. Creativity because of all those presentations, most famous being Mona's. Religious websites because of all those Baha'i websites.
