The Baha'i Studies Listserv Anybody know anything about these two? Ellen Goin was an American cousin of Laura Barney and friend of the Khans. According to a press report cited in Summon Up Remembrance, she was a Baha'i. She married a Cuban businessman, Manual Riordo and they lived in Goin Glenn NJ. They had a significant art collection as can be noted on-line. He died in 1950 and in 1951 there is a notice of a contribution to the Nat'l Fund in his name. I find no further references in anything i have to any Baha'i involvement.
