Hi, I've just tried avahi-fix2.diff, which prevents scp completion from hanging in a timeout for me.
FWIW, this issue does not just show up when ipv6 is not properly configured, but also when some reverse DNS is unavailable (because my ADSL modem doesn't do reverse DNS I think). Gr. Matthijs
