A special session on animal bioacoustics will be a part of the 12th International Conference on Theoretical and Computations Acoustics (don’t be scared off by the conference title) in *Hangzhou, China, *October 11 to 16, 2015. The Chinese are keen on getting more involved in animal bioacoustics. There are a good number of internationally known researchers and scientists that agreed to be *Invited Speakers*. We are now opening up this session for *Contributed Speakers*.
