That would be Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, author of _La Petit Prince_, which you may have read as a child, or read to children at some point. Wikipedia says he was a "writer, poet, and aviator". A reminder, were one needed, that intellectual silos are costly! :) (I only had this factoid ready at hand because Peter Schaffter, author of the mom macro package for groff, uses it in his .signature file.)
