Ski stations. Latest information from today's issue of l'Indépendant -
Ordino-Arcalis and Pal-Arinsal will open next Friday, November 30th; Pas de la Casa-Grau Roig on 1st December. Soldeu el Tarter will be about a fortnight later. Getting around Pas de la Casa on foot may be a little trying. The paper reports that the snow clearing machines have thrown up a 1.5 metre wall of snow on the pavements. This may take a little time to clear as it will have to be done manually to avoid damaging parked cars which are buried in it! -- E. J.
