Hi - I'm new to the group. I just became Princessa new
Mommie.I was her Nanie, but my daughter decided Princessa and we
should be together 24/7 so gave me to her. She is a little TeaCup, about
3 lbs, 8 months old. In one week she has turned my house upside
down. I have 6 other doggies, mostly chi-mixed and one spoiled
rotten 3 Legged RatTerrier, they were all Rescue dogs. The
youngest is 7 and oldest 15 years old, so having a little Princessa running
around has really upset their naps.
I have to answer Chrissy's question about coloring - your
friends are wrong. Chi's can have any color or making. Princessa is white with
a little tan shaped heart on her back with tan ears. She is
registered but I don't know with which
one. Chi's, or any dog, are just like kids- they wet where you
dont want them to, chew, whine when they are ignored or hungry, use their
little teeth on their friends and yours, and have 1000's of behavior problems,
but you love them regardless what they do because they are
Yours!!
I have a little Yorkie mix- Max - he is about 11, I got him
5 years ago after being returned to the shelter 3 times for behavior
problems, mainly wetting inside - the shelter called me to come
get him since it was his last chance he had been there over 6 weeks, people
see this cute little animal, take it home, then don't want to deal with its
problems and return it. I got my little Katie - a chi - her former owner
passed away, she was about 8 then, she growled and bite a shelter employee
when they took her out of the owner's relative's car, so she was branded a
aggressive dog right away. I had just lost my little Heidi chi-
and thought her daughter Scarlett need a friend, she was my one and only then
- now won't you growl and bite if you just lost your home!! I would!!! Katie
is my oldest and still just like a old lady . So you have to be understanding
and loving. Just my 2 cents into life.
Everyone has a great day.
