4 weeks is waaaayyy too early and I know in the state of FL it is illegal for a pup to be sold before 8 weeks, however it is not illegal to give a pup away before then (loop holes).... My question is have you made sure the pup is healthy? Bridgette was sold to me at 5 weeks (not knowing anything about the puppy laws) she also was not in the best of health... my point is if a "breeder" is going to disregard a pup in that manner I would guess they dont really care if the pup is in good health or not....

It is perfectly normal for some to be up and some not by now. I wouldn't worry till he starts hitting the one year mark. Also, don't be surprised if one day you find his ears standing straight up...and the next day back down again! lol 'Marsha ----- Original Message ----- From: Wendy To: Chihuahuas@yahoogroups.com Sent: Tuesday, May 22, 2007 1:04 PM Subject: [Chihuahuas] New to Group Hi there...was looking for a place to get advice and tips on raising my chi. Got him in December when he was only 4 weeks old...he's quite the character and very healthy. I was wondering though...his ears do not stick up and I was wondering if anybody had any thoughts on why that is? The other chi's in his litter all have the pointy ears, while his still droop down...any ideas?
