Hi, My name is Joan and I have two Chihuahuas; Dolly is my female and she will be three in 17 days. Desi is my male and he will be two in August. I love my chis because they are so sweet and intuitive. Having a bad day.they know it. I talk to them.like in complete paragraphs and they listen and I think most of the time they know what I am saying. I can't remember life without them. They are there when you need someone to cheer you up; they are there to give you kisses when you come home; and when you really need someone/something to hug, they are right there.
Mine get along with other dogs. The thing that is important is to get them socialized before they are too old, or else they may not be friendly to people or other dogs.
