I'm no hardware guru, but if i remember it correctly, it was the fact, that the processor and the graphics chip can't access the RAM at the same time. Both of them lock the channel to the RAM, so they block each other. To make things worse, the uSD card is connected with the same channel. Please correct me, if i'm wrong.
