I reinstalled Linux Mandrake 9.1 since I could not use my ADSL link (other
problem). As far as I remember, I choosed the autodetection, I checked the ADSL
checkbox in adition with my Ethernet card which was properly detected. When I
came to the xDSL configuration, I choosed the Alcatel Speedtouch USB ADSL modem
for installation class. Then a form asked me which interface I wanted to use.
The choice list proposed me only "eth0", "eth1", ..., "eth9" interface. I filled
it manually with "ppp0".

Remember : I do use a USB ADSL modem for my Internet connection (and an Ethernet
card for my LAN). I do not have any Ethernet ADSL modem.

I wanted to configure my ADSL link but I could not select ppp0 in the choice
list for interface. I only saw "eth*" interfaces. I use a USB ADSL modem and
thus use it through the ppp0 interface.
