Unfortunatly, the nolapic option didn't work for me. I'm relatively new to kernel options, so I may be applying incorrectly. I added "nolapic" to my append list in lilo.conf and then ran lilo, but it still freezes. Are there any other options to get this working? I think it's also causing other things to go wrong with my machine, like the sound not working.
