I know we have scripts that set up stuff in people's
environments by default, maybe something like this is
worth adding:
showconf() { egrep -v "^#" "$1" | egrep -v "^$" ;}a lot of times (say on this list) Mandrake people want to know what someone has in a certain config file, and of course they don't need to see the blank and commented lines, so they could just ask the user to run: showconf filename Just a thought. __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
