------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-02-22 16:20 -------

I've got an T20 as well and no problem here (current cooker).

Suspend: I have removed CHANGE_VT="7" from /etc/sysconfig/suspend,
because it is not needed (it caused some problems, iirc).

XFree86-4 config: I have the following two options in the Device section
for the savage driver:

    Option "ShadowStatus"
    Option "ForceInit"

BTW: closing the lid causes my system to suspend to RAM (which I
normally use at least once a day). I can't use suspend to disk at the
moment.

When I close the lid on my IBM Thinkpad T20, then open it later the screen is
corrupted and I must switch to a console then back to X to fix the screen.

It looks like Red Hat has some issues open on this 1.1.26 driver too. They seem
to suggest using the 1.1.27 test release and most people are reporting success.
