If it's your nature to fight evil by civil disobedience, it's more likely you will die by suicide, if you don't fight evil by civil disobedience.
A jail sentence for civil disobedience is easier to stand, than being caught up in inaction, assumed civil disobedience is your nature. So putting your life on the line sometimes is the smarter way to go. Excessive collecting signatures against each unfairness isn't smart, but Avaaz activism suffers from this.
