it depends much ...

for example, what will someone do in low light conditions where manual
focus is contradictory? 

and when you did take sequence of 1-2K images, you definitely will not
remember "what was actually in focus"

and the "looking closely at the image" could be problematic since 100%
zoom demands too-much-HD monitor to see whole image to be able to
decide;)

as for me I use AF first and after that finishing it manually
if someone can help me with other way, I really would be happy
