Hi! Govts have travel data but don't know if they will share it. Many states like Karnataka are using travel pass system to give travel permission. This msg has circulated widely (forms for different states' people to fill). It is all available but with different states. All have their own portals.
How to get this for private research is gonna be tricky. But it's good data. I'm helping fill up these forms so I know what details they're capturing - name, age (not all have), gender, current address, home address, state to which they want to travel, phone number, ID number (whatever ID they have).
