Role Description

This position provides investment data auditing and research services to
Global Operation's Data Management team’s internal and external clients.  The
position is responsible for accurate and timely delivery of requested data
audits and analysis, execution of data research and controls, development of
data management program policies and procedures, and assisting in the
development and evolution of these products and services.

1. Client Service:

•Provide investment data expertise to internal and external clients

•Coordinate report changes and maintenance when asked by internal business
unit owners of reports

•Document, submit, and manage requests for new reports and data elements

•Maintain policy and procedure documentation; report on any quality control
issues to appropriate associates

Evangelize data products and benefits


2.ata Research:

•Document data acquisition, storage, and provisioning

•Develop data flow charts capturing data lineage and migration through
systems

•Assist in defining business rules required to transform and enhance data to
meet client needs                                                           50


•Locate and enter required data not located on data feeds loaded to systems
using a variety of tools

•Maintain documentation of critical data changes for use in internal and
external audits and reviews



3. Data Management:

•Ensure data held within the database(s) is accurate

•Work with the vendor, data providers, and IT associates for any changes
required due to errors, revisions, etc

•Identify, research and explain variances in data results an in conjunction
with other data management associates

•Monitor controls and procedures at various vendors to confirm accurate data
is being delivered

•Ensure adequate quality controls are in place and are consistently
performed

Report on operations and project metrics


4. Projects:

•Responsible for contributing to project teams in various roles where
appropriate.

•Lead small/medium project efforts.

•Serve as project coordinator on small/medium project efforts, ensuring
effective communication between project team members and clients and
monitoring vendor work to ensure project stays on target in regards to
scope, time, and budget.

•Gather and document project and business requirements.

•Serve as a subject matter expert on various projects as appropriate.
