Emeryville, CA 6 months Urgent need Locals preferred candidates that have Vector Graphics background. Should be able to "smooth an image" in Flex. Should know that Flex component lifecycle. Any animation experience would be a plus. Experience with "skinning and styling" is desirable. Any background with FlashBuilder, version 4 would be a big plus.
Principal Responsibility: Software Development ¡V primarily consisting of Adobe Flex Builder 3. Adobe Flash Builder and Flash Catalyst are desirable but not required. Desired Skills: - Design/Documentation: o Ability to generate Software design specifications o Ability to generate designs to support new requirements on an existing system o Ability to understand requirements documents and high- level architecture - Programming: o Object oriented development utilizing ActionScript o Proficiency utilizing the Flex framework. o Graphics programming ¡V bitmap and vector manipulations. o Styling/skinning of Flex applications. o XML/XSD/Web Services: „X REST ¡V Representational State Transfer „X Ability to generate and work with XML schemas o Experience with frameworks such as SWIZ and Cairngorm. o Knowledge of localization techniques o Integrating Flex and JavaScript applications. JavaScript development experience is a plus. o Good knowledge of software algorithms and design patterns - Experience o History of successful software commercialization projects o Knowledge and proven execution of Software Development processes (e.g., SCM) o Strong organization skills, self-motivated, team player o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
