Ok, I will go with the 1.23.1 option then. For now I just installed
bogl-bterm in the chroot to make it build and got a D-I build to
succeed with it. I haven't run a test installation yet though since
debian-cd needs a few more udebs.

If that is all that is needed then a note of that in the Changelog and
a binNMU for amd64 only will suffice.
