Hi, I'm very motivated to support this package since it's optional dependency of ReviewBoard package. I'm not DD so can't upload it. That's why I've uploaded new version of pylucene to mentors and looking for sponsor: Bug#670204: RFS: pylucene/3.5.0-1 ITA -- Python extension for accessing Java Lucene Holger Levsen will probably take a look to it in a week.
