Please unblock package salt By requiring dmidecode salt can't be installed on non x86 systems like arm. This issue was raised by an user in the upstream chat who wanted to install salt on arm. Even though there is no specific bug report changing the depends to an recommends would be a good thing and was discussed with upstream. unblock salt/0.10.1-3 debdiff between 0.10.1-2 and 0.10.1-3 diff -Nru salt-0.10.1/debian/changelog salt-0.10.1/debian/changelog --- salt-0.10.1/debian/changelog 2012-07-11 13:10:35.000000000 +0200 +++ salt-0.10.1/debian/changelog 2012-07-30 12:40:53.000000000 +0200 @@ -1,3 +1,10 @@ +salt (0.10.1-3) unstable; urgency=low + + * [efbd4a8] Change uploaders email address for Ulrich Dangel + * [442ead1] Recommends dmidecode instead of Depend to support non-x86 systems. + + -- Ulrich Dangel <u...@debian.org> Mon, 30 Jul 2012 12:40:53 +0200 + salt (0.10.1-2) unstable; urgency=low * [bda6011] Add dmidecode to depends for salt-minion.
