Package: adequate Version: 0.4.1 Severity: normal Dear Jakub,
thanks for that nice tool. I noticed one issue: $ adequate --all [...] ilisp: missing-copyright-file /usr/share/doc/ilisp/copyright [...] $ adequate ilisp ilisp: missing-copyright-file /usr/share/doc/ilisp/copyright $ dpkg -L ilisp /etc /etc/ilisp /etc/ilisp/ilisp-keybindings.el /etc/ilisp/ilisp.el /etc/emacs /etc/emacs/site-start.d /etc/emacs/site-start.d/50ilisp.el So far, so good. But: $ dpkg -l ilisp Desired=Unknown/Install/Remove/Purge/Hold | Status=Not/Inst/Conf-files/Unpacked/halF-conf/Half-inst/trig-aWait/Trig-pend |/ Err?=(none)/Reinst-required (Status,Err: uppercase=bad) ||/ Name Version Architecture Description +++-==============-============-============-================================= rc ilisp 5.12.0+cvs.2 all Emacs interface to LISP implement $ While it's surely true that there's no more copyright installed for removed but still configured packages, adequate at least shouldn't include such packages with --all. If called with a removed package directly, it should maybe better to warn about that fact. P.S.: It's probably an interesting question if removed package which still have some conffiles around should also have a copyright file present. Probably depends on the intellectual value of the conffile. ;-) -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (900, 'testing'), (899, 'testing-proposed-updates'), (200, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.8-trunk-686-pae (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages adequate depends on: ii debconf 1.5.49 ii perl 5.14.2-18 adequate recommends no packages. adequate suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
