In order to use Dokuwiki with LDAP, you need to install php5-ldap. Maybe this package could be recommended or suggested ?
Recommended, along with php5-mysql and php5-pgsql for the other auth plugins that have been merged into DokuWiki. Thanks for the notice, I will do that with the next version I upload.
