Package: arpwatch
Version: 2.1a15-1.2
Severity: normal

When invoking massagevendor, the answer is

awk: cannot open p.awk (No such file or directory)
awk: cannot open duplicates.awk (No such file or directory)awk:
cannot open euppertolower.awk (No such file or directory)

Giving a look at the source of the program, if relies on the setting of AWKPATH,
which is a environmente variable used by gawk (not installed by default), but
not
used by mawk, that is the default awk program installed on a base Debian system.

Apart from modifying the source, a quick solution is to install gawk.

I suppose the package should depend, or at least recommend the package gawk.

Thank you.
