Thanks for the report Andrew, you are quite correct that the multi-arch support is broken in this respect. The correct solution is obviously to include the architecture in the package names returned by the iterator, either just for packages which are not the native architecture, or unconditionally. The first option may be less surprising for users, but seems less logically consistent than the second, which I've chosen to implement: package names returned are always qualified (although you can still look up the packages for default architecture unqualified).
