Hi Pierre, thanks for your ITP. The package seems to fit nicely into the Debian GIS scope which just has assembled a lot of OSM packages as you can see here:
http://blends.alioth.debian.org/gis/tasks/osm [1] So it would make perfectly sense if you also would join the Debian GIS team on alioth https://alioth.debian.org/projects/pkg-grass/ and put the packaging into the according VCS. The advantage you have by doing so is that your package will immediately advertised automatically at the tasks page[1] above in the "started in VCS" section (since I just added the osmctools entry into the according tasks file). Another advantage would be to have way better chances to find a sponsor for your package. Regarding the ITP itself I think you should be more verbose in the long description, what these tools are doing, what the converters are converting, etc. Kind regards Andreas.
