Dear Norbert:

Yes, the bugs are old, so what. They affected me for a long time. They are very likely to affect me over and over again. It is a pity that you just close bug reports because you can't deal with them. From your message I understand that
- you claim that the problems are up-upstream
- you ask us to check a fresh texlive distribution, which means that you don't really know whether the problems are still existing upstream. It implies that you don't really know whether the problems are existing up-upsteam. You may correct me if you really did check upstream or up-upstream.

As of today, I do not have resources to install a fresh livetex distribution (as of today, 2013) or check upstream. However, I would like to ask you to reopen the two bug reports, so that I can at least check and update on their status on a current wheezy distribution via found/notfound.

Thank you in advance,

Jaakov.
