Package: daptup Version: 0.12.6 Severity: wishlist Tags: upstream Dear Maintainer, *** Please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***
* What led up to the situation? The iinfo daptup gives isn't important for each dist-upgrade (Debian/sid), but slows down the whole upgrade process significantly. Currently there is no option to make daptup available on demand. The only option would be to uninstall. So please add an option which allows the user to control if and when to run daptup. Thanks. * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? * What was the outcome of this action? * What outcome did you expect instead? *** End of the template - remove these lines *** -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (900, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.12-6.towo-siduction-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages daptup depends on: ii apt 0.9.14.2 ii coreutils 8.21-1 ii liblocale-gettext-perl 1.05-7+b2 ii perl 5.18.1-5 daptup recommends no packages.
