I think the best way to solve this issue is to use a wrapper script that ensures a java7 compatible runtime environment and that mediathekview will use Java7 even if other environments are installed on the same system. I think using and depending on java-wrappers should be the way forward here. I will prepare a new release soon. Cheers, Markus
