I'm still very much unconvinced that maintaining a Debian delta against a Ubuntu delta, instead of upstreaming things, is the way to go, especially given the low amount of energy that's being put into the apparmor package in Debian. But I'll let Kees make the decision. If he, or someone else, wants to maintain this delta, fine with me. Providing a working and tested patch against the current source package would probably help showcase what you're proposing.
