Ricardo - After I deleted the AOL IMAP accounts, Claws Mail immediately
closed each time.

I suspect that it could be due to AOL's servers getting overloaded, I
have read that they stop at least one billion spam e-mails every day.

When I used a different e-mail client, I noticed once I have deleted
e-mails out of the IMAP Inbox, if I then switch to Trash, the deleted
e-mails are /not/ present and there is an indication that the mail
client is trying to connect to the Trash folder for the account, as if
it's having issues connecting to their IMAP server.
