Could you check if after git config --global dpm.debianTag 'debian/%e%v' git config --global dpm.patchedTag 'debian/%e%v' git config --global dpm.upstreamTag 'debian/%e%u' git-dpm produces tags more to your liking? (I guess for tagging it might make sense to also have some config in the repository itself, currently almost all git-dpm config is only per-repository or per-user). Bernhard R.
